Are you an enthusiastic Mechanical, Electrical, or Aero/Aviation Engineering professional with a passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation? BAE Systems are looking for an outstanding Engineering Lecturer to join their Early Careers team and play a vital role in developing our future talent.
  
Key Skills

• A recognised teaching qualification (mandatory)
• Experience delivering Aero, Aviation or Advanced Manufacturing Engineering content up to Level 4
• Recent experience in teaching, mentoring, and developing blended learning resources
• A collaborative, flexible mindset with a genuine passion for inspiring learners
• Confidence using digital platforms and a proactive approach to educational innovation

  
The Job:

• Delivering outstanding teaching and assessment aligned with Apprenticeship standards and our internal learning models
• Creating engaging, blended learning resources using VLE platforms (CANVAS)
• Mentoring and supporting learners to ensure excellent progress and personal development
• Contributing to curriculum planning, enrichment activities, and learner feedback
• Embedding core skills like Maths and English across all areas of delivery
• Monitoring progress, maintaining high-quality teaching materials, and producing progress reports
• Participating in continuous professional development and promoting a culture of safety, inclusion, and excellence
