Engineering Lecturer

• Hourly Rate: £30 - £40

• Job Type: Part-time (9am - 4pm, Mon - Fri with 1 hr lunch)

We are seeking a dedicated Engineering Lecturer to join our client's team in West London, delivering the Level 2 BTEC First Diploma in Engineering. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, ready to start as soon as possible.

• Deliver lectures on the Level 2 BTEC First Diploma in Engineering, specifically focusing on Unit 2 (Investigating an Engineered Product), Unit 5 (Engineering Materials), and Unit 11 (Electrical and Mechanical Science for Engineering).
• Prepare and present engaging and informative lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and update curriculum and course materials in line with educational standards and advancements in the field.
• Engage with students to inspire them and deepen their understanding of engineering concepts.
• Maintain records of students' attendance, grades, and participation.

• PGCE qualification or equivalent teaching certification.
• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in teaching or related field.
• Strong understanding of BTEC curriculum and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
