Role: Engineering Project Manager
Type: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract
Pay: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 16:00, Friday 8:00 – 15:00
Location: Wolverhampton

Are you an Engineering Project Manager looking for your next opportunity? I’m currently representing a leading Manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton and they’re looking for an Engineering Project Manager to join them on an FTC basis.

Job Description

Manage multiple active engineering projects within a dynamic, global, and multi-project environment, reporting to the Engineering Project Management Lead.
Plan, coordinate, and review project activities using process knowledge, risk management, and product understanding to ensure on-time delivery.
Define clear technical objectives at project initiation, addressing functionality, cost, quality, risk, and validation plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders including Engineers, Product Managers, Sales, Quality, Testing, and Suppliers to drive key deliverables.
Contribute to continuous process improvement by applying lessons learned and supporting lean, adaptable project execution in fast-paced environments.

Engineering Project Manager
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry-related experience.
Demonstrated success in independently leading engineering or product development projects on a global scale.
Proficient in IT and presentation tools, including MS Project and standard Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organisation.
Solid foundational knowledge of the mechanical product development lifecycle.
