You will be working across the English Department, supporting KS3-5 lessons, while having a focus on attainment & the quality of learning. This is the perfect opportunity if you're an aspiring English Teacher looking to gain experience before enrolling on teacher training.

The Head Teacher would ideally like an English Graduate Teaching Assistant with any of the following English-related degrees:

• English Studies (English)
• English Languages (English)
• English Literature (English)
• English Language & Literature (English)
• Arts & Humanities (English)
• Creative Writing (English)
• Journalism (English)
• Languages Studies (English)
• Media Studies (English)

You will have the opportunity to enrol onto a Teacher Training opportunity via the Secondary School starting September 2025.

• English Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Secondary Teaching Assistant (Subject dependent)
• Working across KS3-5 with a focus on raising attainment
• Carrying out GCSE & A Level interventions
• Enrolling onto the English Graduate Teaching Assistant (Schools Direct)
• September 2025 start - Full-Time & Long-Term
• £105-£110 per day - Term time only
• Located in the Borough of Islington

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have a desirable degree in the above subjects from a reputable University
• Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
• Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum
• You must be able to engage and motivate the students
• Commitment and ambition to succeed are key throughout!
