Tradewind Recruitment is working with secondary schools in Rushden that are looking to appoint talented and motivated English Teachers from September 2025. These are full-time, long-term roles ideal for both experienced practitioners and confident ECTs eager to develop their career in a supportive setting.

As an English Teacher, you'll play a key role in delivering engaging, thought-provoking lessons that spark imagination and foster a love of language across Key Stages 3 and 4.

What you'll be doing:

• Planning and teaching English Language and Literature lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Encouraging analytical thinking and creative expression through a wide range of texts

• Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback

• Maintaining a well-structured and positive classroom environment

• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student enrichment

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Hold UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification in English

• Have recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary setting

• Possess strong subject knowledge and a passion for English

• Have excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Are a team player keen to contribute to a forward-thinking English department
