Job Title: English Teacher – Maternity Cover

Contract Type: Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS depending on experience

We’re looking for a passionate and committed English Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated students in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
• Contribute to department planning and school-wide initiatives.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A team player with a passion for teaching and learning.
