Job Description - Entry Level Finance Assistant

We’re looking for an entry-level Finance Assistant to join an energetic and supportive finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their career in finance who’s eager to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills within a busy accounts function.

Working closely with the team, you’ll primarily support the Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:

Processing supplier invoices and credit notes
Reconciling supplier statements
Assisting with payment runs
Handling queries from suppliers and internal teams
General finance administration tasks as required

About You:

We’re seeking an individual with exceptional attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a willingness to learn. You don’t need years of experience – just the drive to build a career in finance.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

A basic understanding of finance or accounts (study or work experience)
Strong numerical and IT skills (Excel especially)
Good communication and organisational skills
A positive, team-focused mindset
