Job Description - Environmental, Health and Safety EHS Associate

Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Associate
Location: Stafford
Rate: Up to £26 per hour
Hours: 37 hours/week - Monday to Thursday (Fridays off!)
On-site Only – No remote work
Start Date: 1st August 2025
Duration: 12 months (with high potential for extension)

We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Associate to join the team in Stafford. This is a broad, engaging role where you'll be involved in everything from day-to-day operations to exciting, meaningful project work—right from day one.

What You’ll Need:

1–2 years in a similar EHS role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential).
Strong knowledge of EHS policies and legal compliance.
Confidence in delivering training and communicating across all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) and PowerPoint.
Creative problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Risk assessments, COSHH, PUWER, LOTO, MHE, working at height, contractor management, sustainability, waste management, and incident reporting.
