European O2C Department Manager

O2C Department Manager (Credit Management / Shared Services) – 8-Month Contract – £400–£500/Day – Inside IR35 – Bracknell / Hybrid

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation during a significant period of transformation. We are seeking a skilled O2C Department Manager to oversee the operational performance and leadership of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) department, with a core focus on credit management and shared service centre collaboration across Europe.

As part of the European Finance Operations team, you will manage the day-to-day activities of the O2C department. You’ll play a crucial role in aligning operational output with strategic objectives, while leading teams and ensuring efficient, standardised practices across markets.

In this 8-month contract role, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the European O2C department, including direct leadership of onshore teams and oversight of offshore shared service centre operations.

• Driving performance across all areas of the O2C lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on credit management, cash application, and collections.

• Establishing robust governance, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Acting as the key escalation point and subject matter expert for O2C matters across the region.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and transformation teams to support the rollout of a new finance operating model.

We’re looking for an experienced leader who can take ownership of departmental performance and contribute to a major transformation:

• Demonstrated experience managing an O2C or Credit Management department in a multinational or shared services environment.

• Strong understanding of credit risk, cash flow, receivables, and related controls.

• Track record of improving team performance, implementing process efficiencies, and driving accountability.

• Comfortable working across cultures and time zones, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• Able to manage change and bring stability during transformation phases.
