Excel / Financial Modeller About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Excel / Financial Modeller to join an experienced Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to run and develop an Excel-based reconciliation process that bridges external bank statements with internal payment records, ensuring efficient production of reliable bank reconciliation reports.

Excel / Financial Modeller Key Responsibilities

• Run and continuously develop an automated process to reconcile transactions between bank statements and internal payment records
• Understand data flows across multiple systems, downloading and matching data to enable accurate reconciliation
• Collaborate with banking teams to ensure all reconciliation breaks are resolved and properly understood
• Refine and document processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency

What We're Looking For

Excel / Financial Modeller Essential Requirements:

• Experience: Account reconciliation from primary data sources
• Technical Skills: Excellent Excel modelling skills with high technical competence in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Specialist Knowledge:
  • Demonstrable accounts reconciliation experience
  • Understanding of data flows in accounting systems
• Communication: Strong communication skills at all levels
• Personal Qualities:
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment and adapt to learning and change
  • Flexible approach to changing priorities
  • Ability to work effectively to deadlines

Excel / Financial Modeller Desirable

• Process flow understanding and ability to document procedures
