Executive Driver

Our client, a large and very well known high street retailer, is looking for an executive driver for one of its most senior Directors. The driver would pick the executive up from their home in Buckinghamshire, and usually drive them to work in Nottingham, and then back, but the executive could also be at meetings and need to be driven to other locations. Flexibility in hours is important.

Description

• Transportation: Safely drive Retail & Logistics Director and team to and from various destinations, including meetings, appointments, and events.

• Route Planning: Plan the most efficient and timely routes based on traffic conditions, weather, and executive preferences.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the company vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition at all times. I ensure the vehicle remains furnished at all times with items that may be of use, such as water, tissues etc

• Security and Safety: Maintain a high level of security and safety for passengers, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.

• Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, providing courteous and discreet service to Retail Director.

• Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Retail & Logistics Director and teams schedules, destinations, and conversations that occur during transportation.

• Communication: Communicate effectively with Retai & Logisticsl Director and Executive Assistant to confirm schedules, pick-up times, and any changes or delays in travel plans.

• Assistance: Provide assistance with loading and unloading luggage, opening doors, and ensuring executive comfort during travel.

• Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to handle emergency situations, including vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or medical emergencies, with calmness and professionalism.

• Collections and Deliveries: I complete collections and deliveries on behalf of the Retail & Logistics Director as required

Profile

The successful candidate will be really flexible in terms of hours, either have done a driving job professionally or be from a trustworthy background such as police or military.

Job Offer

A salary of £28,000-£40,000 depending on the candidate

25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
