Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Science Teacher to support the learning of pupils and development of the Science department. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Science or a related field.
• Experience teaching Science secondary school level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
