EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant St Helens

Your new role
Our client, a school in St Helens, is looking for a Qualified Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to start in September on a temporary contract with the chance to go permanent for the right candidate. The role involves supporting the class teacher, managing behaviour, assisting in the general learning and development of the pupils and may include some personal care.

Key duties are not limited to:

• Assist in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities
• Ensuring all children are engaged in learning and activities
• Support children's social, emotional, and physical development
• Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with the teaching team
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Be comfortable assisting with personal care such as nappy changes
• Support children in managing their behaviour and emotions

What you'll need to succeed

• Knowledge of safeguarding
• DBS
• Experience in an early years/nursery setting
• Level 3 Early Years Assistant Qualification
• Full right to work in the UK
• Compassionate and patient
