EYFS teacher

We are looking for an outstanding and creative EYFS teacher to join a highly-rated primary school in the Wirral. You will work alongside the EYFS lead to provide high-quality support for pupils in our reception class. You will help to create a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment where children can explore, discover and grow.

As an EYFS teacher, you will:

• Work with children to deliver learning programmes and activities that are aligned with the EYFS curriculum and the school's vision and values.
• Encourage children to interact with others and engage in play-based learning.
• Assist with the general pastoral care of the children, including helping them with their personal, social, emotional and physical needs.
• Prepare and maintain classroom resources and equipment and assist the children in their use.
• Provide regular feedback on children's progress and development.
• Liaise with parents and carers to ensure that they are informed and involved in their child's learning journey.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualified teacher status.
• An in-depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience using phonics.
• An up to date DBS or willingness to get one.
• The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
