Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: New Malden, Surrey
Pay rate: Up to £650 a week - dependant on experience
Start date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time | Term-time only | Monday to Friday

Horizon Teachers are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team, supporting children aged 3-5 in both Nursery and Reception classes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education who wants to make a real difference during these crucial developmental years.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum in a creative and engaging way
• Work 1:1 and in small groups with children to support learning and development
• Foster a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
• Assist with phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and expressive arts activities
• Observe and record children's progress, contributing to planning and assessments
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social skills
• Support with personal care routines where needed
• Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents
