Horizon Teachers are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team, supporting children aged 3-5 in both Nursery and Reception classes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education who wants to make a real difference during these crucial developmental years.

Roles and responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum in a creative and engaging way
Work 1:1 and in small groups with children to support learning and development
Foster a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
Assist with phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and expressive arts activities
Observe and record children's progress, contributing to planning and assessments
Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social skills
Support with personal care routines where needed
Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents
