EYFS Teaching Assistant - Tower Hamlets - September Start (Contracted Role) ?

Are you passionate about early years education? Do you have experience supporting young learners in a nurturing, creative environment? A welcoming and well-established primary school in Tower Hamelts is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a contracted basis.

• Well-resourced EYFS classrooms with both indoor and outdoor learning space

• The Role:

• Full-time, term-time position starting September 2025

• Working closely with the Reception teacher to support learning and development

• Supporting individuals and small groups with phonics, early literacy, and play-based learning

• Assisting with behaviour management, observations, and daily routines

• Direct contract with the school

• Experience working in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)

• Confident supporting early phonics, communication, and social skills

• A positive, proactive approach with excellent communication skills

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare/education is desirable but not essential

• Must hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
