Join a leading engineering company based in Birtley, Tyne & Wear, as a Fabricator. This role offers a temporary ongoing opportunity where you will be integral to the maintenance and repair of a range of heavy steel products, reporting directly to the Production Supervisor.

• Follow daily work processes through job cards.
• Measure and cut out templates to fabricate the correct size of replacement steel plate.
• Operate power grinders and use oxy burners to cut out thick plate steel.
• Perform fabrication and welding of heavy plate steel.
• Utilise rollers to form steel.
• Conduct quality inspections of work carried out.

• Proven experience as a Fabricator, ideally within a heavy steel product environment.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with heavy plate steel fabrication and welding.
• Proficiency in using power tools and equipment such as power grinders and oxy burners.
