Fabricator/Welder - Carlisle

Contract: Temporary (Approx. 6 months) - Potential to go permanent

Pay: £20.56 per hour + overtime rates

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Our client based in Carlisle is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and TIG welding of various stainless-steel components and structures
• Working accurately and efficiently as part of a team
• Essential Skills & Experience:
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficient in TIG welding stainless steel (1.5mm-8mm) to a high aesthetic standard
• Skilled in fabricating to tight tolerances
• Experience using workshop machinery such as press brakes, guillotines, and bandsaws is desirable but not essential
• Positive, can-do attitude

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication/Welding or equivalent
