Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Pay Rate: £13 per hour (paid weekly)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Handyperson/Maintenance Assistant to join our team at a school in Slough. This is a temporary role, perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, repairing broken fixtures, and general upkeep of the school premises.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for school events and activities.
• Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and students.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
