Job Description - Facilities Business Support Officer

The Facilities Business Support Officer will effectively perform administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the public sector organisation. The successful candidate will provide indispensable support to the Secretarial & Business Support department, based in Sheffield.

The organisation is a large public sector body committed to promoting the highest standards in social work across England. They are dedicated to maintaining public protection and championing the value of social work.

Description

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department
  • Manage and organise meetings, including minute-taking
  • Handle facilities management related enquiries and issues
  • Maintain and manage databases, ensuring accuracy of information
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documents
  • Support effective communication within the department and with external stakeholders
  • Work with colleagues, landlords and external suppliers to ensure premises complies with safety regulations and health standards.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing post.
  • Being the first point of contact within Facilities.
  • Manage Facilities emails and communicate to ensure queries are addressed.
  • Handling of day to day tasks.

Profile

A successful Facilities Business Support Officer should have:

  • Relevant educational qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience in facilities management and handling confidential information
  • Ability to work well as part of a team

Job Offer
