Facilities Electrical Engineer

Contract Type: Initial 6 Months Agency Temp

Salary: Up to £60,000/yr

Job Elements
• Accountable to the Facilities Engineering Manager.
• Ensuring all electrical planned maintenance tasks are executed to the quality expectations of the regulated business.
• Lead and Project Manage assigned site facilities capital projects.
• Maintain compliance of the engineering maintenance planning database.
• Management of external service providers and contractors.
• Management of the site Photovoltaic System.
• Management of the site Power Network LV and HV.
• Support maintenance teams to resolve complex problems, demonstrating leadership skills through the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Preferred HNC/HND/Degree in an Engineering discipline and hold a professional qualification e.g. I.Eng, etc. (Mech. / Elec. / Control) would be desirable.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience of Electrical Power Systems.
• Knowledge and experience of Facilities Electrical Compliance requirements.
• Knowledge and experience of Building Management Systems.
• Ability to manage and execute projects and liaise with external contractors.
• Knowledge and experience of Electrical Design.
• Knowledge and experience of Fire Detection and Suppression systems.
• Experience of Photovoltaic power systems.
• Good working knowledge of SAP systems.
