Temporary Facilities Manager - Central Brighton (8-Week Contract) ?? ?? Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm | Immediate Start ?? 8-Week Contract ? Client: Leading UK Facilities Management Company
We're seeking a skilled Facilities Manager with outstanding customer service and technical expertise to oversee daily operations at a prestigious library in the heart of Brighton. You'll be responsible for contractor supervision, building performance, and ensuring an exceptional experience for service users.
?? Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all facilities activities, including planned and reactive maintenance
• Oversee contractors and service partners to ensure seamless site operations
• Quickly resolve building-related issues using technical knowledge
• Engage confidently with library stakeholders and visitors
• Uphold safety, compliance, and environmental standards

? What We're Looking For:

• Experience in facilities management, preferably within public or heritage buildings
• Strong technical understanding of modern systems (e.g. HVAC, BMS, security)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Confident contractor management and multitasking under pressure
• Enhanced DBS required (must be registered on the Update Service or issued within the last 3 months)
• Immediate availability for full contract duration
