Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Family Solicitor to assist a well-regarded law firm in Lancashire. This is a temporary position offering flexible working arrangements, with the chance to join a respected team during a period of increased demand. The role will focus on Public Family Law matters, primarily dealing with Legal Aid cases.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Lancashire

Working Arrangement: Full Time, 2/3 days in office minimum
Duration: One month
Rate: £45 – £50 per hour (Outside IR35, DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling a Public Family Law caseload, predominantly Legal Aid matters
• Providing clear, empathetic, and pragmatic legal advice
• Managing files independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with strong Public Family Law experience
• Proven ability to manage a Legal Aid caseload autonomously
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Locum experience is desirable but not essential
