This exciting role is focused on providing Family Time Support for supervised contact, ensuring safe, supportive, and meaningful interactions between children and their families.
Position Overview:
As a Family Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in facilitating family time sessions, supporting children and their families to build and strengthen relationships in a structured and safe environment. This role offers an incredible opportunity to work directly with children and families in need, making a tangible impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and Facilitate Family Time Sessions: Ensure a safe and supportive environment during supervised contact between children and their families.
• Support Families: Provide guidance and support to families, helping them build positive and healthy relationships while maintaining a focus on safety and well-being.
• Detailed Reporting: Accurately document and provide detailed reports on the outcomes and dynamics of each supervised contact session.
• Collaborative Working: Work closely with social workers, children, families, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
• Safeguarding: Uphold the highest safeguarding standards to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families at all times.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
?? Experience: Proven experience working with children and families, ideally in a support or social care role.
?? Communication & Observation Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to observe and accurately assess family dynamics.
?? Understanding of Safeguarding: A clear understanding of safeguarding principles and procedures, ensuring the safety of vulnerable children.
?? Flexibility & Adaptability: The ability to work flexibly to meet the varying needs of families and the demands of the role.
