Tradewind is working in partnership with an alternative provision within Blackpool, who are currently seeking a Family Support Worker to join their dedicated team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and their families. The role involves working closely with students, parents/carers, and school staff to help improve outcomes, tackle barriers to learning, and provide holistic family support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong, trusting relationships with families and students
• Support families in accessing appropriate services and resources
• Liaise with school staff, external agencies, and safeguarding leads
• Deliver 1:1 and group interventions as needed
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and families
• A background in education, youth work, social care, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and empathetic approach
• An understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
