£18.00 per hour (Paid via Umbrella PAYE - £516+ take home per week)

Do you have a background in installing/replacing equipment within retail stores? Are you looking for your next contract role where a vehicle and fuel card is provided and all expesnses covered?

My client are a leading services provider to a range of supermarket stores nationwide. Due to ongoing projects they require an individual to join the field team covering the Midlands area to install and/or replace security shields on chip & pin devices at checkout tills. This role may mean working across other sites in the UK. All expenses are covered as well as accommodation (when required) and a vehicle and fuel card will be provided.

The ideal candidate would have worked within the retail environment previously such as on Point of Sale devices. The installation itself requires basic skills however the reporting and documentation of work is very important so requires someone with good attention to retail, professional and reliable.

The Role:

• Install/replace PIN security shields on Chip & PIN devices at checkout tills. Report back immediately to project management team to highlight any issues or discrepancies whilst on site. Liaise with the staff within the store to ensure their daily trade is not impacted during the installation process

• Field Based covering Midlands
• Start date estimated between 21st/28th April. Project length 10-12 weeks.
• 8 hour working day (9.5 hours including travel, 45 minute there & back unpaid as deemed travelling to workplace)
• A DBS will need to be done unless you have a recent certificate to hand

The Candidate:

• Clear and concise communicator, with both customers on site and the Project team in the office.
• Previous experience working in a busy retail environment and working around both staff and customers to cause minimal impact on their shopping experience
• Ability to work in a solo environment and communicate effectively with project management team

• Full UK, Clean Driving License
• Happy to travel (and staff away when required), reliable
• Recent DBS or happy for one to be done (free of charge)
