Financial Accountant - Maternity contract - 9 Months potential extension

Leicester

Hybrid - 2 WFH / Office 3 Days 

£52k per annum, DOE 

Reed, East Midlands are looking for a Finance Accountant for our client based in Leicester. This is a maternity contract for initially 9 months, with a view this could be extended. This role would suit someone who has a strong knowledge and experience of PowerBI. Our client are a multi-million pound organisation and a leader in their field. As part of this role, your duties will be as follows: 

• Monitor, report and control on spend and divisional budgets
• Support business team leadership in all commercial and financial aspects
• Assist the Management Team with control
• Conduct investigations to improve commercial effectiveness
• Provide the Accounts Department with relevant information for management and statutory accounts
• Provide updates on profitability targets and statutory accounts

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Effective team working and time management skills
• Experience in accounting, statistical analysis, or planning
• Proficiency in PowerBI

Our client is looking to appoint immediately, to ensure a smooth hand over is undertaken with the successful candidate. Our client will also be looking for a Teams interview as soon as possible with a view to conduct a site tour.
