Job Description - Finance Administrator

Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Droitwich
Salary: £13.51 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon–Thu 8:00am–4:30pm, Fri 8:00am–1:00pm)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
A leading manufacturing company based in Droitwich is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team on a temporary basis. This role may have potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the purchase ledger function, including invoice processing and supplier payments
Preparing and processing multi-currency bank payments
Assisting with payroll processing and labour cost reconciliations
Supporting general finance tasks including bookkeeping, cash control, and banking
Liaising with internal departments to ensure accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar accounts role
AAT qualified or QBE
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with accounting and payroll software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
