Finance Analyst

CMA is delighted to be recruiting for our highly successful Bournemouth retail client. They have an exciting opportunity for a new person to join their dynamic finance team as a Finance Analyst on a one year fixed term contract basis.

You will be an existing Finance Analyst or junior Finance Business Partner who has a desire to prepare reports and analyse financial data to drive commercial business decisions, you will have direct communications with senior management on a daily basis.

What will the Finance Analyst role involve?

• Financial model maintenance and accessing systems for annual budget and forecasts for P&L;
• Meaningful insight and recommendations based on analysis of key financial information to support business decision making;
• Manage budget and forecast timetable and processes and liaise with cross functional departments;
• Stakeholder management and presenting at senior management meetings;
• Provide financial monitoring on business project spend, including tracking efficiency savings versus business targets;
• Working closely with and supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Analyst vacancy:

• CIMA qualified is the ideal, although part qualified can also be considered;
• Analytical and business partnering experience and confidence communicating at all levels;
• Strong system skills including Excel and Google Sheets is highly beneficial;
• Ability to start a new role straight away and commit to a one year fixed term contract.
