Finance Analyst - Inventory

We're recruiting for a FinanceAnalyst - Inventory Team to join an established business in the manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a business with a strong track record of developing and promoting talent internally.

Northamptonshire - commutable from Northampton & Rugby

Hybrid working arrangement (2 days in the office)

c. 6 month FTC

What you'll do:

• Support with production of monthly reporting and management packs
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Producing variance analysis and cost reports for senior management
• Preparation and posting of inventory journals, including stock provisions
• Partnering with the commercial team to calculate and post operational cost movements
• Recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

What you'll need:

• AAT qualified or equivalent, with a desire to pursue ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Experience in a finance role with strong analytical skills
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Previous stock accounting / analysis experience (advantageous)
• High attention to detail and confident working independently
• Strong Excel and data handling skills (Pivots, Look ups, formulae)
