We are delighted to be working with a highly reputable business based in East Ipswich, who are looking a Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary assignment for an initial 6-month period.
You will have previous varied accounts experience, mainly within Credit Control/Sales Ledger (would be advantageous), and be readily available for work.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the finance team with various administrative tasks
- Processing invoices and payments
- Assisting with supplier queries
- Ad hoc finance administrative tasks as reasonably required
- Ensuring all supplier invoices are uploaded to the system
Key skills:
- Previous experience in as a Finance/Accounts Assistant
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn
