GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to our Public Sector, Education client. The Finance Assistant will work within a small team processing supplier invoices and staff expense claims, as well as maintenance payments for students.
Main Duties of the Finance Assistant:
* Manage and prioritise designated supplier invoice
* Assist in the processing of batch payments of cyclical student payments
* Complete statement of account reconciliations for designated suppliers
* Process online travel claims in accordance with the expenses policy
* Create twice weekly BACS proposal and complete the payment run once full authorisation has been obtained
Role Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role
* Knowledge and understanding of accounts payable control and procedures
* Strong IT skills including Excel and Word
* Excellent communication skills
* Good organisational skills
