A leading organisation in Milton Keynes is seeking an AAT-qualified Finance Operations Assistant to join their Group Finance team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and numerate individual to gain broad exposure across finance operations, procurement, and billing support.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Group FinOps Manager and wider finance stakeholders, contributing to the smooth running of daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile purchase ledger statements and maintain accurate supplier records.
• Manage supplier onboarding, including due diligence and compliance monitoring.
• Coordinate business travel bookings in line with company policy.
• Analyse and post corporate credit card transactions with correct coding.
• Support the customer billing team with data analysis and resolving queries.
• Assist the purchasing team with requisitions, purchase orders, and receipts.
• Contribute to the preparation of management accounts.
• Provide general administrative support to the Group Finance Operations team.

Candidate Profile:

• AAT qualified (part or fully) or equivalent accountancy certification.
• Previous experience in a finance team, ideally in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of finance systems, purchase ledger processes, and credit card analysis.
• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with procurement systems, expense platforms, or ERP software is advantageous.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
