Job Title: Finance Assistant

Location: Canterbury | Free parking!

Salary: £13ph to £14ph

Contract: Ongoing temporary, possible permanent

Hours: 40hrs a week

This is a Temporary position starting almost immediately, however the company will be recruiting for this role on a Permanent basis so there are definitely longer term opportunities for the right candidate.

The duties in your new role would be:

• Supporting the Finance Team with daily Banking duties
• Posting income and expenditure onto the general ledger
• Bank and petty cash reconciliations
• Reconciliation of intercompany and other general ledger accounts
• Preparation of prepayment and accruals journals
• Raising bank payments ready for approval
• Assisting with purchase ledger
• Other accounting duties within the Finance Team
• Any other tasks as required.

We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

• Previous experience in a Finance related role
• AAT qualifications or studying towards (not essential)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience using either Sage, SAP, or Excel
• The ability to start a new role immediately and commit to a temporary position on an ongoing basis
