Finance Business Partner

Manufacturing Group based in Havant, Hampshire, has an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to support the sales and operational teams in business decision making through the provision of detailed analysis of key performance indicators. The role will be offered on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover an internal secondment.

What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

Reporting to the Head of the Financial Planning and Analysis, the key responsibilities of the position will include:

• Supporting the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting processes;
• Manage the rebate tracking and provisions highlighting any risks/opportunities;
• Analysing stock positions and feed into stock review processes to ensure that risk of obsolescence is properly considered, and risks identified;
• Supporting with customer meetings and pitches where appropriate;
• Providing monthly analysis on sales performance, future forecasts and key risks and opportunities for the Head of FPA and Head of Finance;
• Maintaining and reporting of product market share and competitor analysis.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner opportunity:

• Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification and have previous experience of undertaking a similar role in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding organisation;
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills will be essential to undertake the role successfully as will the ability to challenge key decision makers to improve processes and performance.
• Candidates must be available on no more than 4 weeks notice.
