Salary - £50,000 - £65,000

SF Recruitment are working with a superb business in Leicester in their search for an immediately available Finance Business Partner. This is initially a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with the opportunity of extending or being made permanent following a successful 6 month period. The ideal FBP will be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) & available at short notice. As the Finance Business Partner you will report directly to the Head Of Finance & ensure that all reporting, month end accounting, forecasting and budgeting is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Along with management of WIP and all other financial processes, and reporting key information such as client level P&Ls to operations and contract managers and providing commentary and analysis of monthly performance & group-wide reporting.

Duties of the Finance Business Partner include:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets, including posting requisite journals to complete the financial data within required deadlines
- Prepare robust annual budgets and monthly forecasts, including analysing and appraising variances, understanding key cost drivers, identifying trends, risks, opportunities - both for annual budgets and rolling monthly forecasts, by sub-division and by single project
- Effectively manage and influence working capital
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency of any impactful process
- Work within the larger Group Finance team to manage intercompany balances, ensure consistency of reporting and adoption of best practise
- Support the provision of consolidated results of business plans, results and forecasts for all sub-divisions within the Division
