Finance Business Partner

Ambition are supporting a global law firm in their recruitment for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner on an 18 month FTC, to join its high-performing finance team in Bristol. This is a strategic role supporting a key practice group, with scope to influence decision-making across international teams and drive financial performance.

• Act as the primary financial interface between practice group leadership and the wider finance function
• Deliver strategic financial insights, performance reviews, and partner-level presentations
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes
• Support pricing strategy and profitability initiatives
• Collaborate with credit control and local finance teams to manage working capital
• Provide financial modelling for lateral hires, promotions, and expansion projects
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to firmwide financial planning

• ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience
• Proven experience in finance business partnering, ideally within professional services
• Strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools
• Adaptable, collaborative, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
