My client is a Local Authority in the East Midlands who are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner on an Interim Basis, are working with Spencer Clarke Group to fill the post.

About the role:

Based in East Midlands (Remote):

To deliver financial accounting and drive performance improvements through effective financial monitoring, advice and support by partnering with services.

What's on offer:

• Hourly Rate: £500 - £600 per day, inside IR35.

*negotiable based on experience

• Remote Working (once per month)
• Contract type: Contract (37 hrs a week)
• Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Champion excellent management of financial resources, promoting probity, efficiency, high performance and overall value for money with service areas.
• Produce month end financial monitoring and lead services in undertaking regular and timely review and challenge.
• Undertake specific duties as part of the production of the annual statement of accounts.

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Experience of budget preparation and monitoring.
• Experience/understanding of statutory accounting and reporting requirements.
• Experience and knowledge of accounting for Housing Revenue Accounts.
