The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join the finance team as a Finance Business Partner (6-month FTC), taking ownership of financial oversight across a diverse range of projects. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will manage the full financial lifecycle, ensuring accurate reporting, efficiency, and financial clarity from start to finish.

This role is well-suited for a finance professional with a background in project accounting-especially within creative or design-led industries-who is looking to develop their expertise while contributing to high-profile projects. You'll be joining a fast-paced, team-driven environment where your financial insight will play a key role in the company's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with project leads and senior stakeholders to track financial performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying opportunities to enhance financial efficiency.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Oversee project work-in-progress (WIP), budget variances, and profitability analysis.
• Conduct variance and sensitivity analysis to identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Manage the end-to-end project accounting process, ensuring invoicing aligns with key milestones.
• Lead forecasting and oversee capital accounting, ensuring financial projections support business growth.

What We Need to See (required):

• 1-3 years' experience in a project accounting role.
• Experience with WIP and Revenue Recognition
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• A keen interest in creative and design-led industries.

What We'd Like to See (preferred):

• Experience in a project-based environment such as design, construction, or engineering.
• Experience working in small to medium-sized businesses.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + benefits

Start Date: ASAP

Location: London

Contract: 6-month FTC
