Job: Finance Business Partner (9 Month Contract)

Location: Colchester, Essex

Salary: £400pd-£450pd

Length of contract: 9 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned interim Finance Business Partner with a background in the public sector to join a finance team in Colchester.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide financial insight to senior leadership team to drive efficiency and change
• Business partner with stakeholders on financial performance and analysis
• Deliver high quality management information using predictive analysis and financial modelling
• Support with creation of cross-functional team projects
• Collaborate with finance colleagues on company policies aligned with strategic goals and continuous improvement
• Assess business costs and risks
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations

The ideal candidate:

• Must be qualified accountant (ideally CIMA)
• Must have experience working in the public sector
• Strong communication skills
• Proven track record in improving financial systems and driving performance
• Experience providing financial advice to inform strategic decisions
• Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial results for the business
• Proven track record in building strong relationships with internal teams to influence stakeholders

The client is offering hybrid work and £400-£450pd.
