Job Title: Finance Business Partner – FP&A
Contract: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Sheffield - Hybrid
Reporting to: Head of FP&A
Salary: up to £60,000

Elevation recruitment group are working on behalf of a client looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join their FP&A team on a 6-month contract. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you’ll lead key financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and KPI reporting. This role requires strong business partnering across operations, advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (including VBA), and the ability to drive actionable insights from data.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the business

• Partner with the Operations Director to drive financial ownership in manufacturing

• Maintain and improve Excel-based models (including VBA macros)

• Own and deliver accurate, timely KPI reporting (financial & non-financial)

• Support business planning, strategy refresh, and MoD financial requirements

• Deliver insightful analysis to inform decision-making at Exec and Board level

• Promote process improvement and modelling best practices

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Advanced Excel & VBA modelling

• Proven experience in FP&A and business partnering

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

• High attention to detail and commercial awareness
