Finance Consultant - Reporting System Implementation

Robertson Bell are supporting a prestigious organisation based in Central London to recruit a qualified accountant with experience spanning financial management and systems implementations to support the implementation of a new reporting tool and revamp a number of existing financial models and reporting templates.

This is a 6-month contract role, with flexible working arrangements on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of a new reporting tool, working closely with finance colleagues and the implementation partner.
• Review and improve existing management accounts and business partnering templates, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and usability.
• Enhance financial reports and models used for forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
• Contribute to both BAU activities and project-based initiatives, bridging the gap between finance and systems teams.
• Participate in requirements gathering, documentation, scoping, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to support systems implementation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong background in management accounting and/or finance business partnering.
• Demonstrable experience working on systems implementations (does not need to have led them).
• Proficient in advanced Excel – able to build, adapt and analyse complex financial models.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across finance and technology to translate business needs into system functionality.
