Job Description - Finance Coordinator

The Finance Coordinator will support the Accounting & Finance department in managing financial operations for a business in the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role in Wednesbury requires precision and organisational skills to ensure seamless financial processes.

Description

The Finance Coordinator will;

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
  • Support budget preparation and monitor expenditure to ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and workflows.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities.
  • Provide support for audits, ensuring all documentation is organised and accessible.

Profile

A successful Finance Coordinator should have:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy.
  • Experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in Wednesbury.
