Job Description - Finance Manager - 12 month FTC

A Finance Manager is required for a 12-month fixed-term contract within this prestigious service provider based in Weybridge. The role managers a small team.

Client Details

The employer is a well-established, mid-sized organisation within the services industry. They are known for their structured operations and focus on delivering precise and diverse solutions to clients. The organisation is based in Weybridge, Surrey and offer hybrid working (2 days in office).

Description

The Finance Manager must hold the requisite technical knowledge, experience and qualifications to perform the role effectively. Key functions include:

* Production of monthly management accounts for each of the Group's companies, comprising of various entities along with any associated MI, as delegated by the Group Financial Controller

* Management and delivery of monthly payroll, including pension contributions and P11D

* Production of the Group's consolidated management accounts on a monthly basis, as delegated by the Group Financial Controller

* Adherence to the accounting cycle and associated deadlines at all times

* Management of ad-hoc queries from staff

* Management of quarterly VAT returns and regular returns for the FCA

* Supervision of two staff

* Support Group Financial Controller with annual financial audit

In addition, the role is expected to play a supporting role in the:

* Production of annual budgets and YE accounts

  • Provision of control against actual and variance reports on a monthly basis
  • Delivering of year-end processes and year end accounts packs

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) QBE will be considered.
  • Experience in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
