Finance Manager

Are you an immediately available Finance Manager or Management Accountant?

We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to support with a 1 years maternity cover position, ideally to start at the beginning of June for a handover. The salary will be £50,000 - £60,000 depending on your experience. Full time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (between 8am - 6pm). This is a hybrid position, working from home 1 day a week.

Ideally you will supporting accounting qualifications, although this is not essential, as long as you are able to hit the ground running as quickly as possible, due to overseeing the finance team.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and credit control
• Support with internal and external audits
• Process global payrolls
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
• Assist external accountants with VAT return submission
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process
• Reconcile bank accounts

You must be a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment with knowledge of financial regulations and systems. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and guide a finance team, offering knowledge and support when required.
