Finance Manager

A large public services broadcaster are looking for a Finance Manager that will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial reporting and systems landscape across our Commercial Group. You’ll lead the management reporting process, own the SAP BPC system, and drive continuous improvement in how we deliver financial insights.

This is an initial 9-month contract position that is inside IR35 with a daily rate of £400 to £500 per day via an Umbrella company. The role offers hybrid working with 2 to 3 days a week in the office, the office is in Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead consolidated monthly and quarterly reporting, supporting Executive and Board-level decision-making.
• Own and manage SAP BPC and related systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
• Act as a key liaison between Commercial and Group Finance, resolving system issues and supporting stakeholders.
• Champion best practices, training, and system enhancements to improve user experience and reporting quality.
• Support audit, compliance, and internal controls, while deputising for the Head of Finance when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong finance process knowledge.
• Proven experience in management reporting and financial systems, ideally SAP.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and collaboration.

Desirable:

• Experience in media or entertainment sectors.
• Familiarity with audit processes and financial controls.
• Coaching and mentoring experience.
