The Company

Our client is a high-growth organisation delivering critical infrastructure services across the UK. As they embark on a major, multi-million-pound programme, they are seeking a highly capable Finance Manager with a focus on Financial Modelling and project accounting to take ownership of cost modelling and financial analysis to support this complex, high-value project.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will take the lead in developing, refining, and maintaining financial models that underpin key strategic and budgetary decisions. This is a high-visibility role with genuine impact requiring a hands-on, commercially aware professional who can operate autonomously while influencing senior stakeholders across the business.

You will be responsible for producing detailed cost models to support medium and long-term budget preparation, whole life costing and sensitivity analysis. Your outputs will directly inform long-term planning, funding decisions, risk assessment, and project delivery options.

The Candidate

ACA / ACCA / ACMA qualified, you will have proven expertise in financial modelling with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential as you'll engage with both finance and non-finance leaders, challenging assumptions and shaping decision-making. Experience working on modelling and costing high-value projects will be particularly valuable. Knowledge of Green Book methodology would be a distinct advantage too.
