Finance Officer

We are seeking a Finance Officer to undertake key duties within the finance department of a dynamic organisation. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing purchase ledgers and who is proficient in processing orders, handling invoices, and assisting with BACS payment runs and account reconciliations.

• Process orders for goods and services efficiently to ensure smooth operations within the department.
• Handle purchase invoices with accuracy, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
• Assist in preparing BACS payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and support the financial health of the organisation.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial processes align with organisational policies and regulations.

• Proven experience as a purchase ledger or similar role within a finance department.
• Strong understanding of financial processes including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliations.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
