Finance Analyst - Contract

Detailed services to be provided (specifically, the deliverables and, if appropriate, specification):

• Tracking and posting of Accruals and Prepayments as part of month end work
• Liaison with project managers for assets under construction to ensure correct entries are booked
• Tracking and posting of other month end general ledger entries - asset additions, depreciation, disposals
• Balance sheet reconciliations, including to sub ledgers
• Provision of support to our financial auditors
• Supporting the development and maintenance of controls and procedures
• Providing advice and educating stakeholders across the organisation to ensure compliance with financial policies
• Working closely with our Finance Business Partners to report accurate financial information
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting
• Supporting planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

Experience required:

• Advanced Excel skills
• Self-starter & Team player
• Qualified or working towards qualification of ACA, ACCA or CIMA beneficial but also will consider qualified by experience
• Microsoft D365 experience desired but not essential
• Expertise in reporting solutions for example Power BI desirable
• Ability to effectively plan & prioritize work, meeting deadlines in fast paced environment
• Strong analytical skills, questions data & looks for root cause
