Job Description - Finance Process Consultant

My client within the Professional Services space is actively seeking a Finance Process Consultant who has experience across SAP S4/Hana to provide support and advice in regard to process related problems across global offices.

This role ideally requires a professional who has experience operating within the finance function either from an accounting perspective or focused on finance systems directly - who can support when complex issues arise including liaising with Technology colleagues to resolve.

The Finance Process Consultant will work under a hybrid model with my client based in central London, with expectation of 2-3/days per week on-site, to deliver day-to-day support across the Global Finance team.

With strong experience of identifying and driving change to ensure efficiency as well as optimisation of current processes within the SAP R3 landscape, you will support continued evolution of the systems as the business looks to adopt S/4Hana in the future, documenting processes and policies to assist with training material as well as communicating the change.

With your knowledge of the system from a technical perspective, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving authorisations and access requests - taking a proactive approach to reviewing the system and any error logs within, supporting end users to ensure an efficient resolve and escalation where necessary.

As a Professional Services client, prior experience across Matter Management systems will be advantageous to ensure correct reporting and allocation on relevant projects and assignments.

Given the large scale and wider transformation within the business the Finance Consultant will also take an active hand in testing new solutions and products to ensure alignment with expected delivery and strategic goals.
